Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies is a quick service restaurant in [[Tomorrowland]]. The ice cream restaurant is located across from the [[Tomorrowland Indy Speedway]].
==Restaurant History==
The restaurant that is today known as Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies originally opened in 1972 as [[The Lunching Pad]] <ref> http://www.omniluxe.net/wyw/mkindex.htm </ref>. Connected to the "Space Port" shop, The Lunching Pad sold sandwiches and salads <ref> http://waltdatedworld.bravepages.com/id84.htm </ref>. From 1979 until 1989 the restaurant was sponsored by Sun Giant <ref>http://www.omniluxe.net/wyw/mkindex.htm</ref>.
In 1994 The Launching Pad was closed and relocated to the base of Rockettower Plaza (below the [[Astro Orbiter]]), as part of the larger Tomorrowland renovation. At this time a new restaurant, “Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies”, opened in the Lunching Pad's former location <ref> http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide/257/Walt-Disney-World/Magic-Kingdom/Tomorrowland/The-Lunching-Pad-at-Rockettower-Plaza </ref>. Unlike The Lunching Pad, Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies features an ice cream and smoothie based menu. Since 1994, Auntie Gravity's has not seen any major changes.
