Liberty Square Market[edit]

The Liberty Square Market is a food stand in Liberty Square.

Attraction History[edit]

Although the Liberty Square Market did not open until 2003, there is some evidence that a food stand/market was originally intended for the land's opening day. According to Passport2Dreams (which you can read here) early blueprints for Liberty Square called for a market to be constructed at the location where guests can now find a replica of the Liberty Bell. Although plans for the market were eventually scratched, 32 years later, the Liberty Square Market would open just feet away from its original intended location. Since the Liberty Square Market opened in 2003, it has not seen any major changes.
