* In the city scene, a billboard advertises "Delux-O-Detergent" which is said to be safe for Ink and Paint. This is a reference to Disney's original animation department<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* To the left of Daisy's Dance Studio is a newspaper which reads "Oswald Wins". This is a reference to Oswald the Lucky Rabbit<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* The water works that guests enter the city through is named Iwerks & Uwerks Water Works. This is a reference to animator Ub Iwerks <ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* A sticker on the barrier next to Jackhammer Pete reads "Rafferty's Road Blocks" a reference to Imagineer Kevin Rafferty<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Rail features a signs for Retlaw Parking (the name of Walt Disney's personal company as well as "Walter" spelled backward)" and Yensid Valley (Disney spelled backwards)<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
===Great Movie Ride References===
* The twister in the attraction sweeps up a mailbox that reads "No Place Like Home". This is a reference to the Great Movie Ride's Wizard of Oz scene<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* In the carnival scene, there is poster advertising "The Great Moving Ride" this is an obvious reference to the former Great Movie Ride attraction<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
*As guests move through the back alley to enter the Factory scene there is a garbage an to the left of the factory door. When guests pass by, the garbage can shakes and guests hear a cat sound effect. This was the same effect used in The Great Movie Ride's gangster shoot out scene<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
