Adventureland opened in on October 1, 1971 with three attractions, The - the [[Tropical Serenade]], The the [[Jungle Cruise ]] and the [[Swiss Family Treehouse]], as well as the Safari Arcade (which wound up closing by 1972) <ref> http://www. Caribbean Plaza expanded on the theme of Adventureland, and gave the land more of an island feel then a jungle one.

More change came to The focal point of Adventureland in 1991 When the Tropical Serenade was replaced The Sunshine Pavilion, which was sponsored by The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management)the Florida Citrus Growers from 1971 until 1986. The new attraction pavilion itself was similar to made up of a Balinese pagoda (which marked the entrance of the Tropical Serenade but it featured a new plot with Iago (from Aladdin) and Zazu (from the Lion King) taking over as owners of the Tiki Room. Another major expansion came to Adventureland in 2001. Take inspiration from the Disney movie Aladdin, Arabian Village was built. This new section of Adventureland is home to the ride [[The Magic Carpets of AladdinSunshine Tree Terrace]]. The Magic Carpets , home of Aladdin is similar to both the popular Dumbo attraction in Fantasyland in that guests can “fly” on Citrus Swirl and the Florida Orange Grower's mascot the carpets but with option to choose how high or low they flyOrange Bird. Besides just giving Adventureland a new attractionJust outside of the Sunshine Tree Terrace, from 1971 until 2000 guests could find the Arabian Village expansion also once again changed Sunshine Tree that gave the theme of Adventurelandsnack bar its namesake <ref> http://www.
