==History==
Aloha Island opened on October 1, 1971 under the name the Veranda Juice Bar <ref> http://www.omniluxe.net/wyw/advv.htm </ref>. The Juice Bar was originality considered part of the Adventureland Veranda restaurant, with both locations being sponsored by Kikkoman (a Japanese soy sauce company) from 1977 until 1981. In 1981, Dole (the fruit and vegetable company) assumed sponsorship of the Juice Bar, although not the Adventureland Veranda itself<ref name= "moueplanetmouseplanet"> https://www.mouseplanet.com/guide/377/Walt-Disney-World/Magic-Kingdom/Adventureland/Aloha-Isle </ref>. At this time, the name of the Juice Bar was changed to Aloha Isle, and the menu of the establishment was altered to feature Dole products <ref name= "mouseplanet"/>
