Aloha Isle is a restaurant located in Adventureland.

History

Aloha Island opened in 1972 under the name the Veranda Juice Bar. The Juice Bar was originality considered part of the Adventureland Veranda restaurant but was eventually given its independence. From 1977 until 1981, the Veranda Juice Bar (and the Adventureland Veranda) were sponsored by Kikkoman, a Japanese soy sauce company. Although the Juice Bar had a Polynesian theme it did not have the pineapple influence that it would later have. In 1981 when Kikkoman ended their sponsorship, Dole the fruit and vegetable company took over. They renamed the restaurant Aloha Isle and it gained gave it a pineapple flavor.

Aloha Island is known for it's Dole Whip, A combination of vanilla soft serve and pineapple juice. The Dole Whip has become a Magic Kingdom tradition for many guests and it's popularity let to it also being offered at the nearby Sunshine Tree Terrace.
