In June 2019, Disney announced that on August 1, 2019, [[O' Canada]] would be closing. At this time, the Canada pavilion's Maple Leaf Mine theater is expected to receive a new film and a new projection system <ref> https://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions/o-canada-2007/news/28jun2019-epcots-o-canada-to-close-in-august-to-begin-upgrades.htm </ref>.
On August 25, 2016, Disney announced that [[O' Canada ]] would be replaced by a new film titled "Canada Far and Wide " <ref name="magic"> https://wdwmagic.com/attractions/o-canada-2007/news/26aug2019-canada-far-and-wide-circle-vision-movie-to-open-in-january-2020.htm </ref>. This new circle-vision attraction will feature seamless screen technology as well as new scenes, a new score, and a new story. Canada Far and Wide is expected to open in January 2020 <ref name="magic"/>.
