* The mine that guests enter to see [[O' Canada]] Far and Wide was originally named Moosehead Mine. This name was quickly changed to Maple Leaf Mine however , when Canada pavilion sponsor Lebatt Brewing Co. told Imagineers that Moosehead Beer was their chief competitor. The mine's name was changed to Maple Leaf Mine <ref name= "book"/>.
* Original ideas for the Canada pavilion included a larger canyon with projected views of Salmon Island, Quebec, Victoria Gardens, and the Northwest Coast <ref name= "Martin"/>.
