/* Attraction History */
While Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable was significantly more "kid friendly" then its predecessor, According to the film’s director Bruce Morris: {{Quotation|"We wanted to show environmental problems in modern society but move people emotionally to realize that, 'Yeah, we can do something about this"| Bruce Miles}} <ref name= "intercot"> http://intercot.com/themeparks/epcot/futureworld/land/circleoflife/default.asp </ref>. At the same time however Disney wanted the film to be entertaining. Tom Fitzgerald (then Senior Vice President of Disney Theme Park Productions) noted that produces did not want the attraction to be preachy. Fitzgerald explained, {{Quotation| “Primarily, we want to entertain. And if guests get the message to be more environmentally responsible, we've accomplished our mission."| Tom Fitzgerald<ref name= "intercot"/>}}
Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable opened to guests on January 21, 1995<ref> http://www.amc.com/movie/1995/Circle+of+Life%3A+An+Environmental+Fable </ref>. Since the attraction opened it has not seen any major changes outside of Nestle ending its sponsorship of the attraction (as well as the rest of The Land pavilion) in 2009<ref> http://land.allears.net/blogs/jackspence/2010/08/living_with_the_land_1.html </ref>.
