'''Luau Cove'''- Located near the shores of Disney's Polynesian Resort, Luau Cove houses the resort's Spirt of Aloha dinner show. Originally constructed in 1972 to house the Polynesian Revue (which had previously been performed on the Polynesian's beach), the Cove has expanded over the years. In October of 1972, dressing rooms were added for the luau's performers, and wind screens added in 1977. In 1982, Luau Cove received a larger stage and expanded dressing rooms. Throughout its run, the Polynesian Revue was alternatively called Polynesian the Kaui-Pono Polynesian Revue, South Seas Luau or Polynesian Luau. The show was changed in the mid 1980s through 1999, when Mickey's Tropical Revue was performed. In 2003, Luau Cove was refurbished, and a new show titled Spirit of Aloha debuted.

*In 1974, the Polynesian's rooms were redesigned. Gone were the standard and sterile looking furniture that the resort opened with. Instead, the rooms now featured a darker, more "tropical", color palate.
