==Backstory<ref> http://land.allears.net/blogs/jackspence/2009/08/chester_and_hesters_dinorama.html </ref>==According to the backstory of Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama’s backstoryRama, Chester and Hester initially owned a small gas station near the main highway. Their lives changed however , when in 1947 amateur fossil-hunters found dinosaur bones in the area. Shortly after the find, scientist scientists and grad students flooded the area and the Dino Institute was founded. In order to capitalize on archeological the archaeological find , as others around them had, Chester and Hester began to sell souvenirs at their gas station. After realizing that they were making more money selling merchandise then gasoline, the couple decided to turn the gas station into a shop called "Chester and Hester's Dinosaur Treasures".
Further capitalizing on their success, Chester and Hester eventually decided to erect an amusement park across the street from their store. It is at this amusement park, “Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama” that guests can find the Fossil Fun Games.

==Attraction History and Description==
The carnival style games that would eventually be called the Fossil Fun Games actually opened to guests in DinoLand USA as simply "Midway Games" on November 1, 2001. The attraction was a art of the Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama expansion. On March 31, 2002 the attraction was renamed Fossil Fun Games. The carnival style games are themed to fit in with the rest of the Chester and Hester area. Besides the name change, since Fossil Fun Games opened it has not experienced any major changes.
