Gaston’s Tavern is a quick service restaurant located in Fantasyland.

Plans for the creation of Gaston's Tavern were initially announced at the 2009 D23 expo. Although very little details were given about the planned dining establishment, it was fairly clear that the restaurant would be a counter or quick services location created as a part of the Fantasyland Expansion. ^[1]. When more information was released in 2011, Walt Disney Imagineering's creative chair Chis Beatty noted of the restaurant, "It's all about Gaston" ^[2].

Gaston's Tavern finally opened to guests on December 6, 2012 ^[3]. The quick service restaurant is themed to look like a "comfy lodge in the French countryside, ^[4] and it features numerous tributes to Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast) and his hunting ability. Gaston's Tavern's menu is notable for its signature beverage "LeFou's Brew" (named after Gaston's sidekick), a frozen apple juice with a hint of toasted marshmallow, topped with passion fruit-mango foam ^[5]. The menu is also unique in that it features large cinnamon rolls (similar to those previously found at the Main Street Bakery as well as roasted pork shanks ^[6]. Since Gaston's Tavern opened it has not seen any major changes.

• If guests look at the ceiling they can find a chandelier made entirely out of antlers!
