==History==
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure is a an outdoor playground based on the 1989 film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The attraction is a 11,000 sq. foot play area, where guests feel as if they have been hit by professor Wayne Szalinski’s shrink ray. The attraction opened on December 17, 1990 and has seen no major changes since.

* Slides designed to look like a Kodak film strip, flower petals and tree stumps
* Anthills and plant root mazes, which that guests can explore and hide in
* A giant spider web which guests can climb
* A dog nose (modeled after Quirk from the movie) which “sneezes” mist onto guests
* A giant, 52 ft leaking water hose
* “Giant” objects such cheerios, bumblebees, ants and a play dough Play-Doh tub

* The soft surface used throughout the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure is also used in the play area [[The Boneyard]] in [[Animal Kingdom]].
* The giant blades of grass found within the playground are 30 feet tall!.
* The bumblebees bumble bees found in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure are 42 feet tall!.
* The Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure has a capacity of 250 people.
* Cast members are stationed at the exits of the playground, to make sure that no children get out of the area without their parents.
