==History==
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure is was an outdoor playground based on the 1989 film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The attraction is was a 11,000 sq. foot play area, where guests feel felt as if they have had been hit by professor Wayne Szalinski’s shrink ray. The attraction opened on December 17, 1990 and has seen no major changes sinceclosed April 2, 2016.

The Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure playground is was scaled to make guests feel like they have had been shrunk to the size of ¼ of an inch. Some of the notable sights in the playground includeincluded:
* Slides designed to look like a Kodak film strip, flower petals and tree stumps
* Anthills and plant root mazes that guests can could explore and hide in
* A giant spider web which guests can could climb
* A dog nose (modeled after Quirk from the movie) which “sneezes” “sneezed” mist onto guests
* A giant 52 ft leaking water hose
* The soft surface used throughout the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure is also used in the play area [[The Boneyard]] in [[Animal Kingdom]].
* The giant blades of grass found within the playground are were 30 feet tall.
* The bumble bees found in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure are were 42 feet tall.
* The Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure has had a capacity of 250 people.
* Cast members are were stationed at the exits of the playground to make sure that no children could get out of the area without their parents.
