Katsura Grill is a counter service restaurant in the Japan pavilion within Epcot.

History

The restaurant that is today known as Katsura Grill originally opened on October 1, 1982 as Yakitori House [1]. Located within a Japanese Garden, Yakitori House was namaed after a chicken dish originally served in the restaurant [1] but later removed [2]. The Yakitori House closed in 2011 and underwent extensive refurbishments [3]. During these rennovations, the interior of the restaurant was given new furniture, lighting, and more modern look [2]. When the dining location reopened on December 7, 2011, it was renamed Katsura Girll, although much of the old menu remained [4].
