/* Mickey's Toontown Fair */
Main Article: Mickey's Toontown Fair
Mickey's Toontown Fair opened in 1996, and closed in 2011. The land was set in Toontown- the place where Disney's most famous cartoon characters lived. Toontown Fair, which replaced Mickey's Starland, took its inspiration from the 1989 movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and featured a more permanent look. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale could all be found in the Judges Tent, as well as other surprise characters who would pop in from time to time. Other attractions in Toontown Fair included Mickey's Country House and Minnie's Country House (where guests could see how Mickey and Minnie lived) and Donald’s Boat (a water play area). Although Mickey's Toontown Fair was full of areas for kids to play, the only real “ride” in the land was The Barnstormer at Goofy's Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm, a tame roller coaster aimed at younger kids. Mickey's Toontown Fair was closed in 2011 to make room for the new Fantasyland expansion.
