On November 17, 2018, Disney announced that the new attraction would titled Remy's Ratatouille Adventure <ref> https://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions/ratatouille/news/17nov2018-remys-ratatouille-adventure-is-the-name-of-the-new-ride-coming-to-epcots-france-pavilion.htm </ref>. Although originally intended to open in 2020, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure was eventually pushed back to coincide with Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary <ref> https://www.wdwmagic.com/attractions/ratatouille/news/16nov2020-disney-confirms-remys-ratatouille-adventure-opening-will-move-to-2021.htm </ref>. On March 9, 2021, Disney announced that the attraction would finally open on October 1 of that year <ref> https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2021/03/just-announced-remys-ratatouille-adventure-grand-opening-at-epcot-set-for-oct-1-2021-in-honor-of-walt-disney-world-resorts-50th-anniversary/ </ref>. True to their word, on October 1, 2021 Remy's Ratatouille Adventure debuted. At this time, La Crêperie de Paris a new table service restaurant and the rest of the France pavilion expansion also officially opened.
