After viewing the home of the future, guests would see various RCA products as the attractions theme song played again. Before exiting they would also get one final encounter with Billy, who was now holding a video camera and pointing it at them. A monitor about would show the guests themselves, on TV (this was considered one of the highlights of the attraction). Finally, guests would arrive back in Tomorrowland having completed their journey into space.
==Pre and Post Show Postshow Changes and Federal Express (1985-20092004)==In 1985 RCA replaced the "Home of the Future" post show. The Living” with a new post show, showed guess that allowed guests to see what it would be like to live on a space colony. One of the most notable changes was that Billy and his dog, ) who once recorded gusts and put them on TV, ) were replaced with a robot boy and a robot dog. The Furthermore, the TV monitors that used to advertise RCA products, were changed to show astronauts in space. Although the story of the post-show changed, its main purpose was once still to show and advertise RCA televisions.
In Bigger changes came to Space Mountain in 1994 Fed Ex , when Federal Express took over sponsorship of the attraction. During this time, Space Mountain, and (as well as almost all of Tomorrowland) was redesigned to fit into the attraction went through many changesNew Tomorrowland theme. In 1994 After the refurbishment, the attraction’s entrance door received was noticeably shorter, and storm shutterswere added to its doorway. Furthermore, which made the entrance much smaller. The left hand entrance wall, (which had previously been used for signage ) was demolished and . Now when entering the right hand entrance wall now only had only attraction, guests simply saw the words, "Space Mountain" “Space Mountain” written on it. The 'Space Mountain" was written the right hand wall in a new orange thin ink, representing font (the "New Tomorrowland"new font was used throughout the attraction). On Finally, the spiral outside of the entrance, the spiral which had once one read "RCA" “RCA” was removed and replaced by a new spiral which had that held signs for both Space Mountain (once again written in the orange font) and Fed Ex was added.
The After entering the queue for the attraction following the refurbishment, guests would notice more changes had taken place. Inside the entrance lobby was also given , a makeover. The large mural was the Milky Way was added, and the general color scheme of the area was changed to orange and brown, and a large mural of (the Milky Way was addedcolors of Fed Ex). In 1998, the original flooring in this room was removed , and a staircase was added to the right hand queueside.
With Further on in the new sponsorshipqueue, parts of the preshow were changed or removed completely. The windows, where that guests could previously look out and to see various scenes from space were removed , and were left empty for a number of years.The flying saucer which held the RCA dog and a phonograph machine was also taken out (for obvious reasons). Although Space Mountain went through a series of changes during its refurbishment in 1994, the attraction itself was not changed in any significant ways.
Although Finally, although Fed Ex did not change much many of the post show's props, (although "space packages" were added) it did change the story they told. Instead of focusing on a space colony and the technology that could be used there, Fed Ex the new post show focused on the future of package delivery. The new post show showed how , and gave guests the idea that one day packages could be sent over spatial distances. "Space packages" were also added to Following the post show1994 refurbishment, to further promote Fed ExSpace Mountain’s exit building was removed, and the attraction now dumps guests into the Tomorrowland Arcade.
Another major change which came with the 1994 refurbishment, was the removal of the exit building. Now when guests exit Space Mountain, they come out in the Tomorrowland Arcade. In 2004, Fed Ex decided Federal Express chose not to end its renew their sponsorship of , leaving Space Mountain, leaving the attraction sponsor-lesssponsorless.
 ==Current Attraction(2009-Present)==
In 2009 Space Mountain underwent a major refurbishment. Changes were made to the preshow, ride and postshow.
