Stitch's Great Escape! is an attraction located in Tomorrowland.

Attraction History
Stitch's Great Escape opened on November 16, 2004. Replacing the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter which had closed in 2003, Stitch's Great Escape (like the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter) is a theater-in-the-round attraction. If fact, the theater and many of the special effects and animatronics that were used in Alien Encounter were repurposed for Stitch's Great Escape .
Following the opening of Stitch's Great Escape, the attraction proved to be unpopular with guests. To remedy this, beginning in January of 2005, Imagineering began to alter the attraction in an attempt to make it more appealing. One of the first things that they did was have the Stitch Audio-Animatronic figure reappear just before the power is turned back on. Next, Imagineers added a new effect which allowed guests to see Stitch's shadow on the ceiling above them. This effect was removed shortly after installation.
A third attempted change that Imagineers tried, was adding the voice of two children to the attraction's audience. These kids would then "narrate" the attraction, telling guests what was happening around them. This too did not last longer than a few weeks.  The final change Imagineers made was to the attraction's ending. At the finale of the original version of Stitch's Great Escape opened on November 16, 2004Stitch was seen attacking guests as they rode the Astro Orbiter. The attraction This ending was replaced with the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter witched closed current ending, where Stitch attempts to get inside Cinderella Castle. In order to make time for this change, audio of two of Galactic Federation employees (who were at a loss for words) was removed. On September 21, 2016 Disney announced that Stitch's Great Escape! would begin operating seasonally . Beginning October 2, 2017, Disney began using the first pre-show room in 2003Stitch's Great Escape! for a Stitch meet and greet .  Stitch's Great Escape like operated for the ExtraTERRORestrial final time on January 6, 2018. On July 16, 2020, Disney announced that the attraction was permanently closed . ===Stitch's Alien EncounterMeet and Greet===On October 7, is 2017 a theater new Stitch meet and greet opened in the round attractionqueue and first preshow room of Stitch's Great Escape . Named Stitch's Alien Encounter Meet and Greet (a reference to the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter), the theater new meet and many of greet has guests walk through the special effects that are previous attractions queue, past a waving Sergeant C4703BK2704-90210 (Sarge) and the two animatronic alien prisoners (one of whom was Skippy in the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter). After entering Stitch's Great escape were also used in its predecessorEscape's first preshow room, guests meet Stitch before exiting out the way they came.
Attraction Plot
The basic premise of Stitch's Great Escape, is that while guests are supposed to be guarding Stitch he gets away. While guests are fastened in by harness, Stitch "moves" around the room creating havoc.
Stitch’s Great Escape! takes place before the events of the movie Lilo and Stitch. In the attraction, guests have been recruited as guards for the Galactic Federation, and it is their job to keep an eye on Experiment 626 (Stitch).
Preshow
The preshow begins with guests being recruited by the The Grand Councilwoman, to be guards for the Galactic Federation. Guests For day one of their orientation, they are then ushered into the next room, where "a robot named Sergeant C4703BK2704-90210 (Sarge" ) briefs guests them about their duties. Sarge He explains that prisoners come in two types, "your level ones, and your level twos". Since it is a Prisoner Teleportation Officerguest's first day on the job, who Sarge explains to guests that their they are two types of only ready for Level One prisoners. Type one prisoners Level One Prisoners, are "common criminals. An example of this type of prisoner the cosmos", an example which is shown, captured in a the teleportation tube on Sarge's right. The second type of criminal is a more serious or repeat offender. While Sarge is giving his briefingAfter presenting the Level One Prisoner, he is alerted that a level two prisoner is being teleported in. A captured furry alien who is seen Lieutenant Sludge appears on the a screen above Sarge . He informs the robot that he is teleported teleporting another Level One Prisoner into the tube on his rightcompound. This alien, (who Sarge explains that this animal continues to steal calls "the doughnut guy") has apparently once again broken into a bakery and eat eaten all of the doughnuts he can find.
After Sarge laments that he never gets any Level Two Prisoners, the "doughnut prisoner" is transported into a tube on his left. Just as the prisoner enters his tube, Captain Gantu appears on the screen, interrupting above Sarge. He tells to warn him that they are about transport a level 3 Level Three Prisoner into the facility. Because of the danger of the new prisoner is being sent , Gantu informs Sarge that they are going to have to move to the Centerhigh security chamber next door. When Sarge is taken aback by this and begins to panic. He has never had a Level 3 prisoner before, and then told that he is visibly upset. Gantu tells him that it is up going to him and have to go with the new recruits (into the guests) high security chamber, he begins to guard this Level 3 prisonerpanic before fainting. At the very thought of this, Sarge faints and Pleakley (from Lilo and Stitch) appears on screen and then tells guests to enter the next room and prepare for duty.
===Main Show===When guests enter the main theater, they are seated in chairs that encircle a large teleportation tube. After being seated, a harness (which is themed to look like a DNA scanner) lowers and straps guests into their seats. After guests have been fastened into their seats, Stitch teleports into the large tube in the center of the room. At first, the prison guards question how something as small and cute as Stitch could possibly be a Level Three Prisoner and after a DNA scan is done, Captain Gantu leaves guests in charge of Stitch while he goes to "straighten all this out" (as he believes that some mistake has been made regarding the danger posed by Stitch). After Gantu exists however, Stitch begins to size up the cannons that are keeping him in check. After spitting at them, Stitch is able to not only cause the cannons to malfunction, but he also disables the power and escapes his tube (by shorting out the system).
When With guests enter now completely in the main theaterdark, they are seated in chairs that encircle a large tube. After being seated harness lowerand Stitch on the loose, Pleakley and strap guests into their seats. The harnesses are themed a female guard leave to look like DNA scanners. After guests have been fastened to their seats, go try and restore the level 3 prisoner is teleported into the tube in the center of the roompower. The prisoner is (as the attraction name suggests) none other than Stitch himself. As soon as Stitch arrives, he begins Guests are left with instructions to spit "stay where they are" and make his escape from "not let the tube. While escaping he also knocks prisoner out the power in the roomof their sight", leaving guests completely although they are now alone in the darkwith the escaped Stitch.
Guests are told to stay where they are, and not to let the prisoner out of their sites. This proves to be difficult however, as In the dark room is in complete darkness and , guests can feel Stitch has clearly escapedhe moves around the room. The next portion sound of the attraction consists of Stitch roaming around an alien’s voice moves, as he steals a cell phone, eats someone’s chili dog (which causes him to "terrorizingbelch" on guests) and causes “terror”. It feels Shortly after Stitch's belch, Captain Gantu returns, only to guests as if be informed that not only has the power gone out, but Stitch is behind themhas also escaped. Sometimes it even feels like he is messing with their hair or standing Gantu orders that the aliens turn on their headthe emergency power (which they had apparently forgotten about in the confusion) before ordering that the cannons also be brought back online. At one pointStitch however seems unconcerned by the return of the cannons, as he continues to taunt Gantu. As the cannons try to hit Stitch, he begins to counterattack by spitting at guests, which causes Gantu to deactivate that cannons. Stitch steals a corn dog and then burbsmakes his escape by "jumping" on guests' heads and running around the room, before he returns to his teleportation tube. A stench Although this would seemingly play into Gantu's hands, Stitch is released from each individual seat able to help guests "hotwire the full effect controls" and teleport out of this bletchthe building (and into the Magic Kingdom).
At this pointOn a screen above guests, some of the lights turn back on in the room. Large lasers, located in the middle of the room begin to look for Stitch. Stitch however is able to manipulate the lasers and have them fire at the guards shown trying (the guestsunsuccessfully). Finally, after jumping on some more guests heads, Stitch makes his final escape and teleports out of the building. He can then be seen on television screen either piloting the to enter Astro Orbiter or entering Cinderellas Cinderella Castle, where Cinderella quickly realizes that he is not her Prince Charming. At this point Captain , Gantu decides their concedes that there is no more that the guests can do, and he releases them from their chairsharnesses. Guests then exit the attraction into one of two shops, Mickey’s Star Traders or Merchant of Venus.
