==History==
Sunshine Tree Terrace is a counter service restaurant serving citrus specialties and slushies. The terrace is located next to the Sunshine Pavilion, and was sponsored by the Florida Citrus Growers from its opening in 1971 until 1991. At one time, a large Sunshine Tree loomed over and gave the terrace it's namesake. Also in the terrace was a small Audio Anamatronic Animatronic Orange Bird, the mascot of the Florida Citrus Growers. The Sunshine Tree Terrace was known for it's popular Citrus Swirl. The Citrus Swirl was a mixture of frozen orange juice mixed with soft serve vanilla ice cream. When The Florida Citrus Growers canceled there sponsorship, the Sunshine Tree Terrace began to move away from it's orange theme. The Orange Bird Anamatronic Animatronic had long been removed when in 2000, the Sunshine Tree was taken down. Another blow to the history of the terrace came in 2009 when the Citrus Swirl was removed from the menu. Today, the Sunshine Tree Terrace has a more standard menu of soft serve ice cream and refreshments. In recent years, the pineapple treats of Aloha Isle, also located in Adventureland have begun to appear on the Sunshine Tree Terrace's menu.
In April of 2012, the citrus swirl returned to the Sunshine Tree Terrace's menu, for the first time since 2009.
