/* The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm */
The history of what would eventually be known as The Barnstormer Featuring Goofy as the Great Goofini began in 1988 with the creation of Mickey’s Birthdayland, a new temporary land in the [[Magic Kingdom]]. Within Mickey’s Birthdayland a petting zoo known as Grandma Duck's Petting Farm could be found <ref> http://www.lostepcot.com/birthdayland.html </ref>, where guests could interact with various animals housed within a large barn. When the land was replaced with Mickey’s Toontown Fair in 1996, the barn that had once been a part of Grandma Duck’s Petting Farm was incorporated into a new, small steel roller coaster called "The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm" <ref name= "yesterland"> http://www.yesterland.com/barnstormer.html </ref>.
The Barnstormer (as most fans called it) was a one minute, gentle roller coaster that allowed guests to board Goofy’s self-designed “Multiflex Octoplane” (an airplane), and follow a flight path that he had previously flown <ref> http://2719hyperion.blogspot.com/2006/12/goofys-barnstormer.html </ref>. Along the way , guests would twist and turn, and even go “crashing” into a barn at full speed. In keeping with the rest of Mickey’s Toontown Fair, The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Goofy's Wiseacre Farm had a rural theme to it <ref> http://www.yesterland.com/barnstormer.html </ref>.
Throughout its history, The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm did not experience and major changes. At the 2009 D23 Expo however, it was announced that all of Mickey’s Toontown Fair would be replaced as part of the Storybook Circus expansion of [[Fantasyland]]. At this time it was further explained that The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm would be rethemed in order to tie in with the rest of Storybook Circus <ref> http://progresscityusa.com/2009/09/13/d23-day-three/ </ref>. On February 12, 2011 the attraction closed along with the rest of Mickey’s Toontown Fair <ref> http://www.orlandoweekly.com/Blogs/archives/2011/02/12/mickey-evicted-disneys-toontown-fair-closed-and-awaiting-demolition </ref>.
