At this point, lighting flashes above the room to show the corpse of the Ghost Host hanging in the rafters (having apparently committed suicide). Finally, during the 2007 refurbishment of the Haunted Mansion, the gargoyles that light the room were given dialog. After the Ghost Host tells guests to "stay together please" the gargoyles whisper "stay together" and then giggle like haunted children.
