The Seas with Nemo & Friends

When The completed Living Seas opened pavilion was unique among the original EPCOT Center pavilion's in that it featured three connected did not house a "feature attraction". Instead, the pavilion was made up a series of interconnected smaller attractions and , concluding with guests arrival at the [[Coral Reef Restaurant]]futuristic SeaBase Alpha. After The Living Seas pavilion began with guests entering a winding their way through the queue (where guests could see historical that featured artifacts from the history of sea exploration), guests travel. They would then enter the first preshow where they watched a short slideshow touting United Technologies. Following the slideshow, they would walk into another theater where they were shown the 6 minuted film called "The SeasSea". This movie showed guests how water made life on earth possible, while also touching on how humanity's understanding of the seas has developed. After the film, guests exited to the Hydrolators, which were "sea elevators" designed to take 30 guests "below the surface". Exiting the Hydrolators, guests would then board their "Sea Cabs" and travel via omnimover through the pavilion's Caribbean Coral Reef Aquarium to SeaBase Alpha.
After watching the short filmWhile Imagineers had originally planned on SeaBase Alpha being made up of eight modules, guests entered the Hydrolators, final version only featured six. Each of the modules housed a series of interactive exhibits which were elevators that took guests "down" focused on a central theme. In addition to the ocean floor (although in actuality they only went down two inches)modules, before they were loaded into their SeaCabs for guests could also further observe the Caribbean Coral Reef RideAquarium from a viewing platform. Finally, The Caribbean Living Seas was also home to the [[Coral Reef Ride took Restaurant]], which allowed guests through to look into the oceanpavilion's depths (aquarium while they dined.
