==Pavilion History==
The United Kingdom pavilion opened with the rest of World Showcase on October 1, 1982. When the pavilion opened, it featured one restaurant (the [[Rose & Crown Pub]]) and an astonishing six shops: the The Tea Caddy, the Queen's Table, the Biscuit Barrel, His Lordship, Pringle of Scotland and The Toy Solider. Although the pavilion was not home to an attraction, the original plans for the United Kingdom called for a Victorian building to be built in the pavilions rear. The building, <Ref>This information comes from Epcot's 25 anniversary map which was going to can be modeled after London’s lost Crystal Palace, would have housed a live comedy showfound here http://starport75.com/2015/11/02/epcot-guidemap-25th-anniversary-celebration-10107/epcot_25_guide-04/ </ref>. A description of the unbuilt attraction was given in the 1982 book, Walt Disney’s EPCOT: Creating the New World of Tomorrow:
The first next major change to hit in the United Kingdom pavilion came in 1986on October 1, 1999, when the Biscuit Barrel became the Country ManorHarry Ramsden Fish & Chips House opened<ref name= "intercot"/>. Although the shop’s name The new dining location was changed, a counter service restaurant which (as its merchandise remained essentially the samename suggested) specialized in fish and chips. Then, in Since the late 1980smillennium, there have been two major alternations to the Country Manor was renamed pavilion. In the Magic early 2000’s, Pringle of Wales, and the His Lordship shop Scotland was renamed Lords and Ladiesthe Sportsman Shoppe. Subsequently, Then in 1995 Lords and Ladies 2006, Harry Ramsden Fish & Chips House was renamed The Crown and CrestYorkshire County Fish Shop <Ref> http://www.florida-project.com/images/guidemaps/ep/epcot-guidemap-2006-october-04.jpg </ref> <ref> http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/harry-ramsdens-epcot.94956/page-2 </ref>.
Although nothing would come of these earlier plans, in the late 1980s/early 1990s, Imagineers created designs for a new area in the United Kingdom called The Enchanted Forest. This area would have housed topiaries of scenes from Mary Poppins, Robin Hood, <ref name="UKMARY"> http://www.omniluxe.net/wyw/ukef02conceptsA-M.jpg </ref> Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the Pooh <ref name=Attractions=="UKALICE"/>. While inside The Enchanted Forest guests would also have meet and greet opportunities. Although not specific to an attraction per say, The Enchanted Forest would also have included the United Kingdom"Door-Knob Tunnel" <ref name= "UKALICE"> http://www.omniluxe.net/wyw/ukef03conceptsN-AA.jpg </ref>, "Cheshire Cat Maze" <ref name= "UKALICE"/>, guests travel to and "Prince John's Castle Interactive Play Area".
