The restaurant that is today known as Tokyo Dining originally opened as Tempura Kiku on October 1, 1982 <refname= "D23"> https://d23.com/a-to-z/tempura-kiku/ </ref>.Located on the second floor of the Hall of Ceremonies, Tempura Kiku did not see any major changes until October 15 2007 <ref> http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/tokyo-dining.htm </ref>, when the restaurant became Tokyo Dining<ref name= "D23"/>.
