History
What is today known as Trilo-Bites originally opened on April 22, 1998 [1] as "Petrifries". When the quick service stand opened, it was sponsored by McDonald's, and featured a limited menu of McDonald's french fries and coke products. The creation of Petrifries was a result of strategic partnership between Disney and McDonald's which began in 1997 [2]. As a result of the agreement, Disney opened McDonald's locations inside all four of Walt Disney World's theme parks.
When Disney and McDonald's strategic agreement ended after 2007, the companies decided not to renew their partnership [2].
