What is today known as Trilo-Bites originally opened on April 22, 1998 <ref> https://www.mouseplanet.com/guide/777/Walt-Disney-World//DinoLand-USA/Petrifries </ref> as "Petrifries". When the quick service stand originally opened, it was sponsored by McDonald's, and featured a limited menu of McDonald's french fries and coke products. The creation of Petrifries was a result of strategic partnership between Disney and McDonald's which began in 1997 <Ref name= "yesterland"> http://www.yesterland.com/mcwdw.html </ref>. As a result of the agreement, Disney opened McDonald's locations inside all four of Walt Disney World's theme parks.
