==Restaurant History==
The Cool Ship opened in 1994 as a part of the New Tomorrowland. Located near the [[Tomorrowland Speedway]], the Cool Ship is predominantly a refreshment stand. Adorning the top of the drink stand is a red space ship called “Thirst Rangers” (note: this is what also gives the restaurant its name). This ship is actually a Trimaxian Drone Ship from the 1986 Disney film "Flight of the Navigator". In fact, there were two different, identical ships used in Flight of the Navigator, and for a period of time guests could see the other ship on the [[Backlot Tour]] at [[Disney's Hollywood Studios]]. Since the time the Cool Ship opened it has not seen any major changes, although in March of 2015 it began to sell turkey legs, which were previously found in [[Frontierland]].
