Pizzafari is a counter service restaurant located in [[Discovery Island]] within [[Disney's Animal Kingdom]].
==History==
Pizzafari opened with the rest of Disney's Animal Kingdom on May 22, 1998 <ref> https://d23.com/a-to-z/pizzafari/ </ref>. At the time the park opened, the land that is currently known as Discovery Island was called Safari Village. Since Pizzafari opened it has seen a relatively few number of changes. On June 17, 2015, the restaurant discontinued its breakfast menu, due to the addition of the nearby Starbucks <ref> http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/pizzafari/news/05jun2015-pizzafari-at-disney's-animal-kingdom-to-discontinue-breakfast-service-later-this-month.htm </ref>. Subsequently in the Fall of 2015, Pizzafari (as well as the rest of Discovery Island) was given an aestetic makeover. At this time, the color pallet of the restaurant changed, so that it now focused on earth colored tones. Furthermore, new sinage and decorations were installed at this time <ref> http://www.wdwmagic.com/dining/pizzafari/news/18nov2015-photos---pizzafari-reopens-from-refurbishment-with-new-color-scheme.htm </ref>.
