The Discovery Island Trails are lush walking trails that wind around the base of the Tree of Life. The Trails feature landscaped pathways, wooden bridges and cave like tunnels. The exhibits on the trails can be viewed in any sequence. When the park first opened, what currently constitutes as the Discovery Island Trails was actually two separate attractions attractions- the Safari Village Trail and the Tree of Life Gardens [1].
