==Pavilion Attraction History==The history of Toy Story Mania began in Disneyland in the year 2005. Imagineers Ken Raffety and Robert Coltrin were working on the Radiator Springs expansion for Disney's California Adventure, and the duo agreed that they needed to create another new attraction. While they were working, Rafferty and Coltrin were inspired by the new Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters attraction in Disneyland. Both Imagineers like the attraction and they decide that something similar could be added to Radiator Springs.
Innoventions opened in 1994In order to make the attraction more interactive, replacing the CommuniCore pavilion. Like its predecessor, Innoventions was divided into East and West buildings, with Imagineers took inspiration from a total area DisneyQuest attraction called Pirates of 100,000 square feetthe Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold. Disney CEO Michael Eisner had said in On the early 1990's thatPirates attraction, "People need a place to experience the new futureguests shot toy cannons at an interactive screen, which then incorporated them into a permanent World's Fair where they can test ship battle. Raffety and try Coltrin both thought that the products are changing our world". Innoventions in Epcot was built with this idea in mind. When it opened, Innoventions featured exhibits by IBM, Sega, and General Motors (among others). After the project was green lit, Imagineers went to the Los Angeles County Fair to play midway games and see how they worked. Their next task was coming up for a ride system to use in the attraction. Although initial plans called for a system similar to Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, which had all the guests moving in one direction at the same speed (similar to [[Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin]] in Walt Disney World), Imagineers quickly realized that this ride system would not meet capacity demands. In order to solve this issue, Imagineers created a completely new ride system that allowed guests to rotate 360 degrees while and unitizing different interactive screens.
The first major change Due to Innoventions came in 1997, when Innoventions West was refurbished. Although most the popularity of the exhibits changed when it reopenedattraction within Imagineering, some were updated and retained. In 1999, in preparation for Disney eventually decided to also bring the attraction to the upcoming Millennium Celebration, all of Innoventions (both East and Westthen) was closed for refurbishment[[Disney-MGM Studios]]. Besides just renovating the exhibitsFortunately for Imagineers, the 1999 refurbishment also gave attraction fit almost perfectly into one of the pavilion more order. All but two of abandoned soundstages in Pixar Place (the entrances and exits soundstages were closed off, and a path was created for guests to follow. Between 2000 ==Attraction Plot=====Backstory and 2007Queue===According the backstory of the Toy Story Midway Mania!, Innoventions only underwent minor changes. In 2000when guests enter the queue for the attraction, they are shrunk down to the Pasta Piazza Ristorante closed, and in 2001 size of a kiosk named Discover toy. To reinforce the Stories Behind feeling that they have been shrunk down to the Magic opened. The new interactive exhibit was built as size of a tie in with the 100 Years toy, giant game pieces, crayons, and toys including a Barrel of Magic CelebrationMonkeys, View-Master reels and thus it was removed in 2002Little Golden Books can be found. The other entrances and exits to Innoventions were also reopened during this time. In 2005, music in the Ice Station Cool closed, before later reopening as Club Cool. Club Cool queue was still sponsored arranged and recorded by Coca Cola; however the exterior Jennifer Hammond who recorded over an hour of music based on the building was changedscores for the first two Toy Story films.
The most recent major renovation came to Innoventions in 2007. During the renovation the pavilion was updated the subtitle "The road to tomorrow" was dropped.
