The Discovery Island Trails are walking paths located in Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Description and History
The Discovery Island Trails are lush walking trails that wind around the base of the Tree of Life. The Trails feature landscaped pathways, wooden bridges and cave like tunnels. The exhibits on the trails can be viewed in any sequence. The Discovery Island Trails were known as the Safari Village Trail until late 2000, when the name of the entire land changed from Safari Village to Discovery Island.
