Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is an attraction within the France pavilion at Epcot
Attraction History
A Ratatouille-inspired attraction for Epcot's France pavilion was originally announced on July 16, 2017. At this time, the attraction was described as a 4-D attraction, similar to Walt Disney Studios Park's Ratatouille: The Adventure. Like its Paris counterpart, Disney teased that the new attraction would allow guests to "shrink to Remy's size and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase across a kitchen with the sights, sounds and smells of Gusteau's legendary Parisian restaurant.
On December 08, 2017, construction work began on Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Although the attraction was not expected to open until 2020, the addition of the Ratatouille attraction necessitated the expansion of Epcot's France pavilion.
On November 17, 2018, Disney announced that the new attraction would titled Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Although originally intended to open in 2020, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure was eventually pushed back to coincide with Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary. On March 9, 2021, Disney announced that the attraction would finally open on October 1 of that year. True to their word, on October 1, 2021 Remy's Ratatouille Adventure officially opened.
