Tokyo Dining is a table service restaurant found in the Japan pavilion within Epcot.

History

The restaurant that is today known as Tokyo Dining originally opened as Tempura Kiku on October 1, 1982 [1]. Located on the second floor of the Hall of Ceremonies, Tempura Kiku did not see any major changes until October 15, 2007 [2], when the restaurant became Tokyo Dining[1]. Since the name change, the restaurant has not seen any significant changes.

Fun Facts and Trivia

  • Each day prior to opening, the chefs and servers of Tokyo Dining and next door Teppan Edo perform a short ceremony welcoming guests to the restaurants [3].
