The Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a table service restaurant located in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
History
The Roundup Rodeo BBQ was initially announced on April 30, 2019, as the first major expansion to Disney's Hollywood Studio's Toy Story Land [1]. At this time, Disney announced that the new restaurant would surround guests with rodeo activities, a Western town, and even a toy train playset [2]. Toy Story characters including Jessie, Trixie and Bo Peep were also teased as being included in the new restaurant. When describing the new experience Disney stated:
This immersive restaurant will surround guests with a kaleidoscope of toys, games, and playsets, providing yet another unique, fun, family-friendly dining experience that could only be had in Toy Story Land [2].
In late 2019 construction began on the Roundup Rodeo BBQ, with the idea that the restaurant would open in 2020 [3]. With the onset of COVID-19 however, the 2020 date was missed, and it was unclear when, or if, the restaurant would ever open. Finally, on January 19, 2022, Disney announced that the restaurant would open later in the year [4].
Description
The backstory of the Roundup Rodeo BBQ, like the rest of Toy Story Land, involves guests being shrunken down to the size of a toy and exploring a world of Andy's creation. According to Disney the Roundup Rodeo BBQ was created when:
Using three cardboard boxes cut and taped together, Andy has created a new rodeo arena using some of his favorite toys, games, and play sets. And while some pieces are definitely western-themed, what makes this rodeo special is the broad assortment of toys that have been brought together to create a fun, colorful mashup-atmosphere that only a child could create [2].
Inside the Roundup Rodeo BBQ guess will be surrounded by "all of the rodeo festivities in-action as well as as western town and train station play sets." According to Disney in addition to the rodeo antics, guests will also spot Jessie, Trixie, Bo Peep and her sheep.

- Located on the right side of Toy Story Land (near the entrance), Roundup Rodeo BBQ was constructed on the location of former studio production facilities [5]
