==Fun Facts and TriviaThe Spirit of Norway==The Spirit of Norway is a five minute film, that guests watch after disembarking from the Maelstrom. The film opened with the rest of the pavilion, and it has not been changed. In recent years, it has been speculated that Disney or Norway will update the film, but Disney has not announced any plans to change the film.
The Spirit of Norway film begins with a young boy inspecting a Viking ship. The film's narrator then begins to explain what the spirit of Norway is. He tells guests that it was born in violence for the first 1,000 years of existence. During this scene, Vikings are shown both preparing for war, and actually battling. As the narrator then talks about Norway's timelessness, the film goes on to show a small seaside town, and a ski jumper flying through the air. The film concludes with the idea that the spirit of Norway has always come from it's people, as a montage of average Norwegians is shown.
