One Man's Dream opened to the public in on October 1, 2001 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney's birth. The attraction is a museum, consisting of various exhibits depicting Walt's life. The attraction renamed mostly unchanged until April 2009, when D23 assumed sponsorship of the museum.
Then in 2010, the museum was refurbished, with additional exhibits added. Additions included at this time included the WED Imagineering Workshop, which featured models for the 1964 New York World's Fair including the Audio Animatronic Abraham Lincoln used in "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln". Also, a new area entitled "The Legacy Continues" was added, which showcases the achievements of the Disney Company from the 1970s through today.
