==Fun Facts and Trivia==
* When the park first opened what currently constitutes as the Discovery Island Trails was actually two attractions- the Safari Village Trail and the Tree of Life Gardens. By late 1998 however the Tree of Life Gardens were incorporated into the Safari Village Trail.
* The otter exhibit found on the Discovery Island Trails contains 67,000 gallons of water.
