These plans were eventually changed however, From 1971 until 1976 this restaurant featured an ice cream parlor and when the park opened on October 1a seating area <ref name= "passport"/>. In 1977, 1971 the restaurant was known as divided in two, with the Town Square Cafe sponsored by Oscar-Mayerparlor and seating area each becoming their own seperate entities <ref name= "widenpassport"/>.
