===Tony Baxter’s Original Concept (1994)===Plans When Fantasyland was originally being designed for Walt Disney World, Imagineers initially decided that they did not want to simply make a Little Mermaid recreation of Disneyland’s dark ride attraction date back rides. Instead, they wanted to replace the opening of Euro Disney (now Disneyland Paris) in 1994. At the time the park opened, a spot in Fantasyland was set aside for a Little Mermaid dark ride rides (Snow White’s Adventures, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride) with new attractions based on different movies <ref name= "BaxterHill"> http://disneyandmore.blogspotjimhillmedia.com/2009editor_in_chief1/05b/disneylandjim_hill/archive/2013/10/28/the-parisheadless-littlehorseman-mermaidheads-on-out-expanding-his-turf-beyond-walt-disney-world-for-the-2013-halloween-season.aspx </ref>. Due to budget constraints as well as the need additional cost involved and guest expectations it was eventually decided to add attractions with higher capacities howeverrecreate the Disneyland dark rides in the Magic Kingdom. According to Jim Hill, when Roy O. Disney about the plans for the Little Mermaid attraction were eventually dropped new attractions he said:{{Quotation| "Why are we reinventing the wheel? Created by Imagineer Tony BaxterFantasyland opened along with the rest of the Magic Kingdom on October 1, this unbuilt Little Mermaid dark ride would use 1971. Unlike the other lands of the Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland took its inspiration from the Disney movies themselves. The opening day attractions in Fantasyland were: [[Dumbo the Flying Elephant]], the [[Mad Tea Party]], Snow White’s Adventures, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, [[Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel]], the Mickey Mouse Revue, [["it's a ride system similar small world"]] and the Skyway to Tomorrowland <ref> http://thisdayindisneyhistory.homestead.com/disneyworldgrandopening.html </ref>. ==Attraction Plot=====Main Ride===The attraction begins * A meet and greet that would allow guests to " share a dance with traveling through a hole Cinderella; celebrate Sleeping Beauty’s birthday with the Good Fairies; or join Belle in Prince Eric's ship. Here, they see Scuttle who clumsily tries to tell guests Ariel's an enchanting story as he plays performance in the accordionBeast’s castle library. After passing by the gull, the ride vehicles (which are shaped like clamshells) rotate backwards, as guests move along the beach before being submerged underwater. As the clamshells travel through a rocky passage, guests can see Ariel and Flounder performing "Part of Your World" above.

After reaching * A Tinker Bell meet and greet inside the end of the passage, guests find themselves in Ariel’s grotto where she is surrounded by her collection of treasures from the human world. The mermaid and Flounder continue singing Part of Your World, while Sebastian the crab occasionally pops upPixie Hollow <ref> http://www.
