* The water works Water Works that guests enter the city through is named Iwerks & Uwerks Water Works. This is a reference to animator Ub Iwerks <ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* A sticker on the barrier next to Jackhammer Pete reads "Rafferty's Road Blocks" a reference to Imagineer Kevin Rafferty<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
* In the carnival scene, there is poster advertising "The Great Moving Ride" this is an obvious reference to the former Great Movie Ride attraction<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
*As guests move through the back alley to enter the Factory scene , there is a garbage an can to the left of the factory door. When guests pass by, the garbage can shakes and guests hear a cat sound effect. This was the same effect used in The Great Movie Ride's gangster shoot out scene<ref name="blogmickey"/>.
