The Mickey Shorts Theater is an attraction on Echo Lake at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Attraction History
The Mickey Shorts Theater was announced on September 25, 2019, as a companion attraction for the previously announced Micky & Minnie's Runaway Railway [1]. Further information was given on December 3, when Disney announced that in the theater, guests would be able see a new original Mickey Mouse short, and take photos with in special photo locations [2].
The new Mickey Shorts Theater replaced the Path of the Jedi film, which was being shown in the former Sounds Dangerous theater. On February 24, 2020, Disney announced that the new theater would should a brand new Mickey Mouse short titled "Vacation Fun" [3]. In addition to featuring new animation, the new short also contains clips of other Mickey shorts including: Panda-monium, Couples Sweaters, Potatoland, Croissant de Triomphe, Entombed, Dumb Luck, Al Rojo Vivo, Yodelburg and Outback at Ya!. In addition to the aforementioned short, on February 24, Disney also announced that the theater's photo opportunities would include cutouts from Yodelburg, Potatoland, Entombed and Panda-monium.
